Who we are and what this policy covers
Brickworks San Jose Concrete & Masonry is a masonry contractor in San Jose, CA. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, call us or ask for an estimate, how we use it, how long we keep it and what choices you have.
It applies to every page of our site, from the home page to our service and city pages. You can read more about our crew and how we work on our About page.
Information you give us
When you fill out our estimate form or call us, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property and details about the job, such as photos of a cracked wall or a description of the work you want done. We only ask for what we need to reply and to give you an accurate quote.
Our estimate form is run by an outside form service, so the information you type into it is stored by that service on our behalf. You don't have to give us anything to browse the site.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours may use cookies and similar analytics tools to collect basic information about visits. This can include the pages you view, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, the site that sent you to us and your general location based on your internet connection.
We use this to see which pages help people and which ones need work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work for reading and contacting us.
How we use your information
We use what you give us to answer your questions, schedule a site visit, prepare your estimate, do the work, send invoices and follow up if something about the job needs attention later. We may also use it to keep basic business records and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't trade it to other companies for their marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the companies that help us run the business, such as our website host, our form service, our analytics provider and our phone service, and only so they can do that job for us. We may also share it when the law requires us to, or when we need to protect our rights, our crew or our customers.
How long we keep it
We keep estimate requests and job records for as long as we need them to finish the work, answer questions about it later and keep the business records the law requires. When we no longer need information for those reasons, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you about anything other than an active job. We'll need to confirm it's really you before we make changes, so we don't hand your details to the wrong person.
Because we work in California, you may have more rights under state privacy law. Ask us and we'll explain how they apply to the information we hold.
How we protect your information
We limit who on our team can see customer details and use reputable providers to store them. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that information sent over the internet will never be exposed, but we take reasonable steps to keep it safe.
Children's privacy
Our site is meant for homeowners and property managers, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if we learn that we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy and how to reach us
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page, and the version posted here is the one that applies.
If you have a question or a privacy concern, or want to make one of the requests above, call us at (669) 234-3391 or send a message through our Contact page. We'll get back to you within 1 business day.
